The membership of the Ronan Fire Department holds a business meeting every second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. At the January business meeting, the membership votes on positions of Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Training Officers, Secretary, President, Vice President, Treasurer, and 5 Trustees. The remaining officer positions include Captain, Lieutenant, and Sargeant (or team leader) and are appointed by the elected Fire Chief.

On the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm is our "work night" or "truck check". At this meeting we perform minor repairs to equipment, check all contents, manually operate pumps and controls, road check all vehicles, clean the fire halls and facilities, etc.

The fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm is our training meeting. At this meeting our Training Officers plan a task or fire related exercise to better our efforts as firefighters. We also perform some training exercises during the weekend to allow for more training time.
